Discussion on Study tour in college

College Authorities should design an implement a policy for study tour 

 Tour is considered as part of education that effect students' a lot. 

Special rules and regulations should be framed

Actually we need to rethink on the existing  practices related with the study tour. Even the tour is conducting in the name of academic purposes it includes many unhealthy practices. So we should develop a strategic plan to make the tour academically sound and happy. The policies must be monitored by all stakeholders  

Ensure safety of vehicle, Allow only select safe places, Allow only limited days

MVD must give a fitness certificate to tour bus every month .

principals only permit tour request attaching the latest fitness certificate of bus.

provide only institutional vehicles   

Study tour is an excellent method to understand our students character, Abilities, etc.

over speed of vehicles should be restricted

It is not advisable to act on any matter whenever any accidents occur.  But there should be some rules and regulations strictly followed by everyone and updating it timely and effectively.

ALL THE COLLEGE AUTHORITIES SHOULD BE VIGILANT IN PERMITTING THE STUDY TOUR WITH THE CONSENT OF CONCERNED OFFICIALS OF THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT 

Study tour and field study is compulsory for topics like wildlife biology. But the authority should be vigilant on the rules and regulations of field study.

Some measures should be adopted by colleges in conducting study tour

Study tour should not be made mandatory 

• care must be taken while travelling long distance 
• lodging must be made compulsory for students ,teachers and drivers.
• ensure the driver has taken sufficient rest and is  fit to drive.

Written permission should be obtained from the parents.
