    Learning Outcome

    1. Describing People

    • Identifying and using physical characteristics: Hair colour, eye colour, skin tone, height, body shape, clothing, etc.
    • Describing personality and emotions: Happy, sad, funny, shy, brave, kind, etc.
    • Using appropriate adjectives and adverbs: Tall, short, curly hair, bright eyes, speaks quietly, laughs loudly, etc.
    • Sequencing details in a logical order: Hair colour, face shape, clothing, personality traits, etc.

    2. Describing Places

    • Using sensory details: Sight, sound, smell, touch, taste (if appropriate).
    • Identifying key features and locations: Park with swings and slides, house with a red door, beach with sandy shores, etc.
    • Comparing and contrasting places: My house is big and has a garden, my school is tall and has many classrooms, etc.

    3. Describing Colours

    • Naming basic and intermediate colours : Red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, etc.
    • Identifying shades and tints: Light blue, dark green, bright yellow, etc.

    4. Describing Seasons

    • Identifying seasonal changes in weather and environment: Hot and sunny in summer, cold and snowy in winter, leaves changing colour in autumn, etc.
    • Describing seasonal activities and clothing: Swimming in summer, wearing warm coats in winter, going on nature walks in autumn, etc.
