    1.  Apologizing

    1. Recognizing when an apology is necessary: Identifying when you've caused someone discomfort, hurt their feelings, or made a mistake.

    2. Taking responsibility for actions: Expressing sincere regret and ownership of your wrongdoing.

    3. Making amends: Trying to repair the damage caused by your actions, offering to help if appropriate.
