The fundamental goal of Information Literacy (IL) is to develop critical users of information. IL is considered as a powerful weapon for lifelong learning. It is common to all disciplines, all learning environments, and all levels of education. It enables learners to master content and extend their investigations, become more self-directed, and assume greater control over their learning. The central mission of educational institutions should be to develop lifelong skills and provide continued growth in the later career of the students.We live in an age when the majority of resources are being moved online. And it comes in handy, helping students study from anywhere in the world, especially during the times of the pandemic, when all that students can do is online learning.However, the recent shift to remote education has revealed significant gaps in digital and information literacy among students. This course is intended to have knowledge about the ethics of writing and to write an article without plagiarism and using reference management tool Mendeley following APA style manualLearning objectives: 1.      To understand the concept of plagiarism, plagiarism detection tools and strategies to prevent plagiarism. 2.      To equip the students with skills to cite and manage references/ bibliography while writing using a reference management tool such as Mendeley. 3.      To familiarize with the different style manuals and to make them to write articles according to APA style manual TARGET AUDIENCE: Research scholars, Post graduate students and teachers.Duration:4 weeks
